Exotic Fruits

I opened a can of lychee fruits today, and as Luke happened by, I popped one in his mouth for him to try. He held it in his mouth for a few seconds, then screwed up his face and said, "Ew." Unsurprised (I didn't like them either when I was a kid), I took it from his mouth, and thanked him for trying something new.

"What was it?" he asked.

I replied, "It's called a lychee."

He thought for a moment and left with this comment, "Well, I don't like the itchies."
